Marvel Rivals Boldly Reveals the New Lady Loki Costume
You might call Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, developer NetEase earns praise for finding innovative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty fanbase. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new costume for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a comics-accurate depiction of the Asgardian trickster god(dess).
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Contrary to earlier predictions and fears, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a full-on visual overhaul of Loki the character, featuring fresh voiceover work. Judging by the official preview, Lady Loki keeps the full suite of Loki's core powers: his projectile attack, Deception, and his clone ability. The only change is her striking new look, tailored to appeal to an audience eager to spend their in-game currency.
A Look and Sound in Action
Here is a look at Lady Loki on the battlefield, accompanied by a sample of her VO, courtesy of voice actor Abby Trott. Notably Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.
Her dialogue and visual flair add a new energy to the well-known kit.
Opening the Door to Possibilities
With NetEase has broken the seal with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy considering similar swaps. Popular ideas currently range from:
- The character Gwenpool as the upcoming Deadpool.
- Thor's alter ego Jane Foster as Thor.
- Spider-Gwen as Spider-Woman.
One pressing query remains: Will NetEase have the guts to introduce less mainstream alternate versions, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on fan demand!
When to Get the Skin
The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
