Kansas City Chiefs State They Are Aware of Alleged Abuse Claims Involving Player Rashee Rice

The NFL franchise issued a statement on Wednesday evening indicating they are aware of claims of abuse made public in social media posts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver Rashee Rice and were in communication with the NFL.

The organization omitted the name of the player by name in their statement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

Allegations Posted on Social Media

The woman, who also did not mention the athlete directly, posted a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the team drafted in the 2023 draft.
